Internship
The Team ECCO Intern Program is a unique training experience. Interns are worked through a well-rounded aquarist program incorporating marine science, animal husbandry, ecosystem development, water quality management, full system filtering, fish and invertebrate ID, public speaking and relations, and teaching.
Intern placements are limited. Each semester, we accept 3 high school level interns, 1 college level intern, and 1 post college / adult intern. The training is rigorous and gratifying. Students leave with an experience that strengthens their marine science knowledge. The semester long internship requires engagement Tuesday – Friday each week. High school students should check with their Career Leader for seeking placement.
During summer, Team ECCO accepts interns by special request. These spaces run from 4-6 weeks. Please contact the Executive Director, Mrs. B. Ramer, at bjramer@teamecco.org.
All intern program are un-paid, but may lead into a part time position if applicable
